Sensory Play That Sparks Development
Each session is thoughtfully designed around messy and sensory play activities that stimulate your young child’s five senses: touch, smell, taste, sight, and hearing. From birth through to early childhood, children naturally use their senses to explore and make sense of the world around them, touching, tasting, smelling, seeing, moving, and hearing their way to understanding.
Our sensory play stations might include textured play dough for little fingers to squish and mould, water play with floating toys and pouring cups, musical instruments to create joyful sounds, colourful rice or pasta for scooping and sorting, and safe taste-testing opportunities with different flavours and textures. These activities aren’t just fun, they’re crucial for brain development, helping to build nerve connections in the brain’s pathways whilst supporting cognitive growth, problem-solving skills, language development, and social skills.
